Effective September 22, 2026.<\/strong> This policy covers hssaudio.com and the direct-download SONAVECT Mac app and driver, version 0.5.13. HSS Audio is operated by Theron Hayes.<\/p>\n

Audio stays on your Mac<\/h2>

SONAVECT routes audio locally using temporary memory buffers. It does not record audio files, upload your audio, or provide cloud audio storage. The DAW or other destination you choose handles recording and saving under its own settings.<\/p>

Version 0.5.13 does not require a SONAVECT account or include advertising, third-party analytics, or built-in telemetry uploads. Audio routing does not require an internet connection. A future release with online licensing will need updated privacy information before that feature is offered.<\/p>\n

Local settings and permissions<\/h2>

The app reads audio-device names, identifiers, channels and operating settings to configure routes. Routing preferences and helper status are stored locally. They are not sent to HSS Audio automatically. Physical audio inputs may require macOS microphone permission, which you can manage in System Settings. Your operating system and DAW may handle diagnostics under their own policies.<\/p>\n

Website visits<\/h2>

This WordPress website uses Namecheap EasyWP hosting. Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and request times to deliver, maintain and protect the site. See Namecheap\u2019s privacy policy<\/a>.<\/p>

Our current product page does not add advertising pixels, third-party analytics or embedded video players. WordPress may use cookies for sign-in and preferences, and browser storage for functions such as emoji support. External links open services with their own privacy practices.<\/p>\n

Support messages<\/h2>

If you email HSS Audio, we receive your email address, the name and message you provide, and attachments you choose to send. We use these to answer your request and troubleshoot issues. Email services, including Gmail for the published support address, process correspondence for delivery and storage. See Google\u2019s privacy policy<\/a>. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary private recordings.<\/p>\n

Comments and accounts<\/h2>

If you use a WordPress comment form elsewhere on this site, WordPress stores the submitted comment, name, email and website fields, plus IP address and browser information. Approved comments may be public. A profile image service may receive a hash of your email if profile images are enabled. Administrative accounts store profile information and authentication records. These features are separate from using the SONAVECT desktop app.<\/p>\n

Purchases<\/h2>

The current purchase button opens an email enquiry. This website does not currently collect payment-card details through an online checkout. Any future checkout provider and associated data handling will be identified before online checkout is introduced.<\/p>\n

Sharing and retention<\/h2>

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Hosting and email providers process information needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to address abuse and protect legal rights.<\/p>

Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests, maintain relevant service records and meet legal obligations. Comments and account information remain until removed, subject to necessary records and provider backups. Local app settings remain on your Mac until removed. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.<\/p>\n

Your choices<\/h2>

Manage website cookies through your browser\u2019s privacy settings. To request access, correction or deletion of information held by HSS Audio, or ask about retention, email theronhayes@gmail.com<\/a>. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information. Rights and exceptions depend on your location and the information involved.<\/p>
